Although many things about the brain are still unsolved mysteries, we’ve learned a lot about memory.
Did you know your brain is made up of 100 billion neurons? As you grow up, develop, and gain wisdom from life experiences, these neurons become connected to each other and they communicate through these connections.
Memories are formed when certain neuron connections in the brain are strengthened by an event. Even though our brain takes in everything, if we don’t strengthen these connections, we tend to forget.
How can you improve your memory?
Influence is one of the most motivating factors in decision making. When you have a major decision to make, what are the influences that drive you to a final decision? It’s normal to base any big decisions you make on how it will affect your loved ones. In essence, you could say that those closest to you have a lot of influence on the decisions you make in life.

Learning a foreign language may be difficult, but the satisfaction and the benefit one gets upon learning the foreign language is definitely worth the effort. Learning a foreign language can be both psychologically and financially rewarding.
The world is becoming more globalized each day that it is imperative that we are able to understand the languages spoken by people from other countries. People of a proud nation should not hesitate to learn and master foreign languages because countries no longer have borders. Of course, countries all over the world literally have borders; but technically speaking, we are now a borderless world.
Success can be elusive. It can find its way out of our lives. Why? Well part of the reason why is because we ‘settle’. We allow answers, solutions and circumstances to enter our lives that are not congruent with who we really are.
For example, we may be asking for ‘the answer’ to a desired relationship. Or we may be praying for a ‘solution’ to a financial situation. But when that relationship comes in the form of a person that may or may not be ‘the right person’, we settle.
And if that ‘financial solution’ comes in the form of a J-O-B … when it’s not the kind of work we know we’re cut out for, we settle. Read more
